A new species of Mallada Navás (Neuroptera: Chrysopidae) from Australia with a key to species
Journal of the Australian Entomological Society 34 (1), 23-27
Abstract: Mallada albofacialis sp.n. is described from Queensland and the Northern Territory. A revised key to Australian species of Mallada is presented. M. albofacialis appears closely related to another northern species, M. traviata (Banks). Larvae of M. albofacialis are trash carriers and are recorded feeding on Icerya spp. New distribution records are given for M. traviata.
